Cadbury World Visit – 17th July

Dear Parents/Carers

On Monday 17th July pupils in Year 6 will be visiting Cadbury World in Birmingham.

The visit will enable pupils to explore how chocolate is manufactured and is a reward trip for the pupils after an intense year.  To be able to participate in this visit pupils MUST have achieved a net score of 10 positive points.  For example, if they have achieved 18 positive points and 9 negative points they will not be able to attend as this is a net score of 9.

Pupils will be leaving school at 9.00am and returning at 2.45pm.  A packed lunch including a non-fizzy drink will need to be provided. Full school uniform is to be worn and pupils may need a waterproof coat in the case of wet weather. Children may bring pocket money, £10.00 maximum and a camera, however, this will need to be labelled with their name and pupils must be responsible for them. Mobile phones are not permitted.

Please return completed slips to school and pay via our online payment system. (ParentPay) by Friday 7th July. When paying online please record the receipt number on reply slip. If you have any queries relating to online payments or concerns about payments generally, please call the School office on 01527 892867.  The total amount for the trip is £14 and this must be paid by 7th July to secure a place on this trip.

Year 6 staff will be accompanying pupils on the trip, however, we would very much appreciate and value any offers of help from parents.  If you are able to assist on this school visit please complete the slip below with your contact details.

Yours sincerely

Mr M Frost
